Caroline County Economic Development is encouraging residents, business owners and community partners to share their perspectives in a new Rural Maryland survey now open to the public. In just 10 minutes, you can weigh in on the opportunities and challenges of living or working in rural Maryland, including right here in Caroline County.
Your feedback will directly inform the Rural Maryland Council’s legislative and funding priorities for two key grant programs: the Maryland Agriculture Education & Rural Development Assistance Fund (MAERDAF) and the Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF). These programs support projects that strengthen agriculture, economic development, health, education, and quality of life in rural communities across the state.
The survey is being conducted by the Schaefer Center for Public Policy at The University of Baltimore on behalf of the Rural Maryland Council, an independent agency within the Maryland Department of Agriculture that serves residents in 18 rural counties and semi-rural areas statewide. Participation is voluntary and confidential, and no personally identifying information is collected, and you may skip any question or stop at any time.
