The Business, Economic, and Community Outreach Network (BEACON) at Salisbury University is conducting a research project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) to assess AI readiness and adoption among businesses in the agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality industries on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. They are inviting business owners to take the survey in order to share their views on business technology, identify technology opportunities in their industries, and identify opportunities for free assistance to implement AI in their businesses.
Their goal is to better understand how businesses are currently using (or thinking about using) technologies like automation and artificial intelligence, as well as any challenges they face. The findings will help inform local support programs, workforce development, and future collaboration opportunities between Salisbury University and industry.
Participation is completely voluntary, and your responses will be kept confidential.
