I had the good fortune to participate in a local leadership development program this past year. The Shore Leadership program offers supervisors and managers on the Eastern Shore the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the issues and challenges facing our region. Led by a certified master coach, participants are guided through skill building activities and conversation to foster collaboration and problem solving. https://www.shoreleadership.org/ . Another leadership development program is being considered for this area. Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MD MEP) is considering holding its “Exceptional Leadership” program on the Eastern Shore in 2019.  MD MEP needs minimum 15 participants, and there is already genuine interest from a Queen Anne’s County manufacturer to send 8 participants.
