Caroline County Economic Facts: You Belong Here

With leading industries that include manufacturing, transportation, logistics, and traditional and value-added agriculture, Caroline County, MD is a strong economic hub in the Mid-Atlantic region. The county is centrally-located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and is close to major markets, including Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore and Richmond.
